OUR director - Dr. john woosik chae

Dr. John Chae is the son of founder Yoon Kwon Chae. He served as a youth and English Ministry pastor in California until 2018, when he was called to take over the mission work of KCGM in South Korea.

He holds a Doctor of Missiology degree from Western Seminary, an MBA from Pepperdine University, a M.Div. from Fuller Seminary, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California Berkeley.

He is joined by his beautiful wife, Noorie, and two delightful sons, Jonathan and Elijah.

Yoon Kwon Chae is the founder of Korea Christian Gospel Mission. The son of one of the first Korean Christian Church pastors who was a Korean War martyr, Yoon Kwon Chae has been ministering in Korea since the late 1950’s. In that time, he has planted many churches, started an orphanage, founded a Korean seminary (now Seoul Christian University), engaged in radio ministry, and engaged in prison ministry. He is considered to be one of the most important figures of the Restoration Movement in Korea.

His wife, Kook Ja Chae, has served as the director of Geon Christian Children’s Home for over 30 years.
